Sean Garber and I were Blue (me doing the rolling this game). Richard Munitz (rolling) and Brent Cohen were playing the White checkers. Sean told me we were up by 4 pips and felt we had a strong cube. I asked him to verify (I was a bit in a fog) the difference and I counted our side. I quickly gave us 2 pips for the extra checker off but forgot to subtract 1 for the gap. Leading by (effective) 6 with 51 total looked like a clear cube. Let them work out the T/P decision. Rich said he was sure they had a take and asked Brent for his opinion. Brent hemmed and hawed a bit, not liking it but when they discussed "would you rather trail 3-away Crawford?" he decided taking was better. (Of course they recubed for the match.) I don't remember the rolls but I recall I got a better toss just about every turn compared to Rich. I think I eventually rolled a big double and we didn't have to take every last checker off.
My old (0.14) GNU-bg said ND+T even at 4-ply. I don't have any special bearoff DB attached.
BTW, the emg's are: ND = 0.702; D+T = 0.768; D+P = 1.000.
The score (after 0 games) is: JellyFish 4, Player2 5 (match to 7 points)
Move number 4: Player2 to play 24
Pip counts: JellyFish 55, Player2 51
