If it overheats, it crashed, nothing slow about it. I told you before if it crashes and browser windows are open it'll likely wipe the cookies, that's just the way it is. It has sounded from the go like it's overheating. If you're running rollouts while you're not around put another fan on the box even if it's a non computer fan. Prop it up so the bottom of the notebook isn't against anything so it can let the heat out and put a fan on it.

The thing is old. 3.5 years in the computer world is near ancient. My laptops have averaged barely over 1 year the last few I've had before they burn out or fade away. (it's hard on them cranking rollouts 24/7/365)
