Clock concerns - your thoughts please.

I don't agree that clocks always give the expert player an advantage. I actually think the clock can level the playing field and diminish the stronger player's advantage.

For example, experts that are wizards at math and have lots of key figures memorized such as match equity tables and gammon prices can make precise calculations if given enough time, whereas if they are on a clock they are forced to economize on such decisions.

I would much rather play a stronger player while on a clock than without one, and trust me I get plenty of chances to play players stronger than me.
