Or your opponent may have honestly spaced and believed he had already doubled. I can say this out of personal experience since I have a horrible short term memory and have more than once had to question a potentially misplaced (or correctly placed) cube and rely upon my opponent's honesty to determine what really happened. Honest people make honest mistakes. Just because the situation is clear in your mind and you know you are right, don't automatically assume intent to cheat or poor sportsmanship by your opponent. Otherwise, you may find yourself making embarrassing speeches in front of a hundred people.
