I think there is a misrepresentation here. Stig says "Here's the optimal board for each pipcount, no matter how many checkers left." Then for 90 pips he shows best is 15 checkers on the 6-point. This contradicts a famous position in Magriel.

What I think he meant was ...assuming all checkers are either in the homeboard or borne off. Then the only way to have 90 pips is 15 checkers on the 6-point.
