Players can change their move only once ...

Before few weeks or months, Nack has fine mail about this topic and I like his compromise solution. Touch move is a way to rigid, IMHO. What if you make your move and still don't pick up your dice or press the clock but see how you make a blunder? I think good addition to this rule could be that players can make one test move and nothing more.
In Bosnia, there are about 300 registered players in their federation, and they are playing tavla, cubeless backgammon without backgammons (3 points), too. And they play with "touch move" like in chess. And it is normal there.
We now in Croatia, found backgammon federation and start series of monthly tournament and have many players from Bosnia on our tournaments, so I am thinking, it this good idea to start with such compromise?
Players can change their move only once before pick up dice or press the clock. What do you think, can such rule become official backgammon rule on main tournaments in strongest divisions?
