As I understand it there is a general consensus among most regular BG players (especially on this forum) that clocks are beneficial and improve the playing experience.

Does this same consensus exist for baffle boxes? I recall reading a few comments from people who tested Phil's baffle box at one of the tourneys and being in two minds about it even if a good one could be designed. I have never used a baffle box, but having seen the pictures do they not take away from the enjoyment of the game?

I don't want to turn this into another discussion of the pros and cons of Baffle boxes, but Phil seemed to be implying in his post (correct me if I'm wrong Phil) that most experts agree that baffle boxes are beneficial. Is this true?
