In Response To: Touch moves (Chiva Tafazzoli)

How are we to promote the game and popularize it as a sport of the mind, if we don't allow the newcomers and less expeirenced players to reflect on their game and the decisions and punish them for their lack of experience?

I don't think it is newcomers who would have a problem with a "touch move" rule. It is the experienced players who like to shuffle that wouldn't like it.
