Clarification, please

When I used the term touch moves, I did not mean that if you touch a checker, you must move it. I meant that if you moved a checker, that move should stand. I agree that there should be leeway for doubles and consulting chouettes. But I am sure I have been burned by checker shufflers many times in the past and I feel it is grossly unfair. I have enough to worry about when I play besides reconstructing the original position.
