I think it is as close to ideal as you can get. However, carrying around a baffle box to tournaments is rather clumsy. I've seen collapsible baffle boxes that can be folded inside of boards; however, those i've played with feel rather flimsy and clumsy. I think tournament directors should have a limited supply of baffle boxes on hand. If one player requests to use a hox, then the box should be used. On certain occasions, the tournament director might require a baffle box to be used ending all discussions about unfair rolling and possible cheating.
