Manipulating dice with a baffle box and no cups

Until someone can demonstrate that they can affect the rolls using the cup and the box, I am very satisfied that this is the way to go. I make and sell baffle boxes, and in addition to a surface that "grabs" the dice to ensure they turn, on Neil's suggestion, I put a small lip at the end so that you can actually see a final "flip" as it leaves the box. I would defy anyone with a cup to improve on a standard deviation, and I'll bet on it.
The above also assumes one set of dice, as loaded dice slipped in would probably still end up skewed even after going through the box.
Nothing short of having an official roller appointed by the TD, rolling for both parties, can completely assure everyone that there is no cheating, but remember, I don't advocate the box just to prevent cheating, but also to prevent cocked dice, dice on the floor, and people being "rude" by not shaking or rolling properly when a box is not used.
