Doubling Sportmanship Question

The rules allow you to double this position, so doubling is perfectly fine. However, ...

Some people will see this as a slap in the face -- that you're trying to rub in the fact that you've won the game. To keep the game friendly, it is better just to roll and claim your two points since the result is the same either way.

Of course rudeness by your opponent is not nice. But there's not much you can do about it except not play that person again.
