Doubling Sportmanship Question

I am curious what the position was before this one, did the opp have 4 checkers and was hoping for a double to get them off, of did they just not resign an obviously lost position? Of course for one more roll the resign may not be a big deal, but I do see it a lot on SHG were opps will not resign CLEARLY lost positions with 2 or 3 rolls still needed for you to finish the game. I have never said anything about it to an opponent, but I do some mumble to myself while don't you just resign and move on. Of course those are typically not positions where you have the ability to double and end the game.
The other thing you see on SHG some are opps trying to resign a single game when there is a possibility of a gammon. I once had an opponent call me an "idiot" for rejecting a single resign when I thought I had a slim chance of gammon. When I later pointed out to them that the bot analysis said that at that point I had 11% gammon chances, their comment was "11%, you are an idiot." I let it drop at that point.
