The story you are referring to was Deeb Shalati playing Dean Meunch, and Deeb was extremely steemed an losing a lot of money. One game, Dean had 4 checkers left on his one and 2 points and Deeb had 7 left.

Dean doubled, Deeb took. Dean claimed.
