We should not imitate golf. In this age of digitalization, the fact that PGA golfers even have to keep a manual scorecard is an anachronism. Running scores are posted for each player without running to the player to check their scorecards. The very fact that a golfer can be disqualified for misposting a score on one hole on his scorecard is absurd. Is this rule meant to keep golf quaint. Tiger made sure golf and quaintness are not necessarily on the same page.
