I agree with everyone's opinion on this thread and knew there was a difference. Just wanted to highlight another opportunity to add a sentence or two to the rules to clarify a scenario ripe for dispute.

A simple amendment to the rules that states that a turn must consist of a valid roll of the dice unless one is on the bar against a closed board is all it would take to make this clear.
