In Response To: Rockwell/Kazaross versus Woolsey (Ray Kershaw)

I believe that the Woolsey table was developed from ~1100 matches recorded between championship-level players from the Hal Heinrich data base (comprised of those matches occurring over 5+ years, all prior to ~1994). I am not sure of the dates but am sure of the source of the data from which Kit developed his MET.

There was NOT an assumed Gammon Rate but rather a GR extracted from the matches themselves. E.G. how many actual times a Gammon occurred at the different scores of during those 1100 matches.
