Is the tricky play -- no rollout

A short rollout suggests little difference between 24/2 8/2 13/7 and 8/2(2) 13/7(2) -- after the latter play, gnubg 2-ply plays 1-1 24/23(2) 6/5(2), ignoring the blots. If forced to play 13/12*/11*, it seems to play well after that, but there's no future in it. Playing out 24/2 13/7(2) against the bot replying with 2-2 tells me the bot plays well from there too -- and has a super backgame.
