The cash point at 3a 2a is only about 73% and at 4a 2a it is about 80% so the market loss for a hit is much greater at the 3a 2a score. Why other positions might be doubles at 4a 2a and not 3a 2a is that 4a has a much higher gammon price, but that is hardly relevant here.
