I think this new machine could do a reasonable job of playing tourney speed if doing a 648 game 1 ply RO of candidate plays (maybe top 4 with .08) but the issue is varience in the RO.

Maybe once 8 cores come out, this approach will be reasonably doable with a 1 ply RO maxed at 1296 games but stopping after a smaller ammount if 99% confident.
