First Position
Blue must advance 72 pips. Blue can fill in the prime with 6-6, 6-6, 4-4, 2-2.
Second Position, with White in the starting position
White's 8 point is blocked, but Blue can play 6-6, 5-5, 4-4, 3-3, also 72 pips.
Extra extra credit:
The 6-6, 5-5, 4-4 and 3-3 can be rolled in any order, as long as 6-6 played 13/7(4) is rolled before the 3-3 and 4-4, because each of those rolls must move a checker from the bar point. Orders that solve the problem:
66 55 44 33
66 55 33 44
66 44 55 33
66 44 33 55
66 33 44 55
66 33 55 44
55 66 33 44
55 66 44 33
