One of the difficulties is that one you enter, the 21-anchor is really stacked, so you need to jump checkers into the outfield.

I'm surprised you're the only person who mentioned this. Lorna's homeboard looks very nice right now, but once she enters, she must play. That doesn't leave many (desirable) options.
