A-21 Our primary target is to escape our second chechker, so I wouldn't play slot, it doesn't seem thematic. Obvious route to escape is 24-21; but that doesn't work on the other side of the board which is generally good, combining escaping and bulding blocking points - I'd put as candidates 13-10 and 13-11 24-23. Of those 13-11 is generally preferable to 13-10 because 11pt builder has more numbers which make another point on our side. So, 13-11 24-23 or 24-21? I think working on both sides of the board is generally better in openings due to achieving both more gammons and more efficient cubes later.
B-32 - Question of advancing our second checker or purely going by blocking - 24-21 13-11 works on both sides of the board vs 13-11 13-10 going to block an anchor by making more points. I am more inclined to go blocking which is my personal favorite. This is different from previous roll coz now we have both 13-11 13-10, not just one. THough I think both moves have some merits. We do want to escape, but also we want to prime opp's anchor.
