I voted for 8/2(2) with the idea of holding the prime while we try to pick up a third checker, keeping trapping as plan B if that fails. It's tough to close out three checkers, however, and closing out two may be better than bearing in against three on the 1pt. I'm not sure; I need to check this. Trapping does come with some risk, however, so that favors holding the prime and trying to go after another checker.
