32$ - which slot?

Gregg: It seems that 32$ is assumed to be 13/10 6/4 by nactation, but why? 8/5 13/11 is a slotting play as well. How do you nactate that?
Nack: Good question, which is not yet fielded in the tutorial.
The family of slot symbols is:
$, %, $, %.
The (secondary) "%" symbol is just to the right of "$" on the keyboard.
I created priority rules for slotting such that the most "natural" play will most often be the primary slotter ("$"). These rules are:
(1) Slot 5pt or 4pt
(2) Unstack tallest point
(3) Closest to 6ptBoth the plays you mentioned obey (1), so (2) is applied and therefore...
For opening 32, $ = 13/10 6/4, and % = 13/11 8/5.
You can also use "N" (Near) or "4" (4pt) for the former, and "o" (outer) or "5" (5pt) for the latter.
If the play is 13/11 6/3, you can use the third slot family member (italic $) or "n" (near). And 13/10 8/6 is O (Outer). These plays seldom arise, but they're covered.
(For use of N and O, see Section 4 of the tutorial.)
