>> According to the XG Elo calculator, a 200 Elo advantage produces a 76% win rate in a 25 point match...
:> ...a 200 Elo difference would correspond to about ... 5.5 ER.
:> Thus a 2.0 ER has 3:1 odds against an 8.5 ER.

Should it not be 2.0 ER vs. 7.5 ER ?

I don't know the XG Elo Calc, but I guess it assumes that the better player tries to play theoretical correct (not adjusting for his advantage)?

If a 2.0 plays to lower his ER, and by doing so wins 76% of his 25 pts. matches vs. 7.5, then I guess that ratio could easily go to 78-80% if the 2.0 player started to adjust cube decisions and checkerplay accordingly?

Can XG rollout a match with differentiated playing strength and METs? So you can measure the effect of a skewed MET when one side is stronger than the other?

---

BTW: What is a 75% win-rate in chess? Is that 3 wins in 4 games, or is it an average of 0.75 (eg. two wins and two draws in 4 games)?
