Rethinking the Chicago Open (Memorial Day)

I can understand that open players that are more focused on the money winning aspects of the game might have reservations, but as someone going to their first tournament outside of club play and entering at the intermediate level the low cost rebuy offers a great opportunity to be able to experience more play than you might in other formats without having to make as large of financial commitment. I see the format as a great way to get some of us that have not been involved in tournament play into it.
