What's a pip worth?

A quick scan of your numbers makes me think that they are probably spot on except for one very big feature that I think you simply overlooked: crossovers matter.
I didn't respond to your post because I did notice that one very big feature, but I didn't know how to adjust for it. I was hoping to be enlightened by you and the responders.
I could be wrong in this, but I suspect it's not the crossover itself that is the issue, but the fact that it is likely to be an inefficient crossover. In the first position, give each side an average roll of 62 and you'll see what I mean. Blue can play 7/5 6/0 without creating a lot of wastage. White must play 7/1 7/5, which wastes quite a lot.
The pip count adjustments I normally use don't penalize for these types of highly inefficient crossovers, so I wouldn't expect the racing formulas I use to handle these positions nearly as well as if the crossovers came from farther back, thus allowing the checkers to more often go to higher points.
The question, I think, is not what a pip is worth, but what a crossover is worth. And the answer is that not all crossovers are equal. I know I need to be penalizing White for poor quality of his crossover. I just don't know how much.
