Billion=1e9 is use in the US, but most of the world use Billion=1e12.

Well, that will change as soon as we changed to Metric in the US (says the French guy still struggling with imperial system after 11 years).

Sorry to say that, but the Brits may not own the US land anymore, but they still own the US measurement system. It's far time for a new revolution war against illogical units!

Death to Fahrenheit, inches, miles and all their 8th, 12th or 1760th spawns (yes there is 1760 yard in a mile! can you believe that?)!
