One reason I suspect you won't get many responses on these, is many of us have read the book and still recall the positions pretty well. It's kind of cheating for us to post the answers we remember rather than ones we might actually derive OtB.

I do have a question though, even though I remember the answer but just looked it up to be sure: Why wasn't 21/18(2), 21/15 rolled out? I think the actual play of 24/21, 21/18(3) is actually best but I don't think it's totally apparent why. After thinking about it awhile the reason I've come up with is, you aren't ready to hit yet anyway except on his 5 point, so a checker back on the 24 point isn't worth a whole lot more than one on his 21 point. Not enough to be worth leaving a needless blot for, anyway.

Don't accept that explanation if you have a better one. It's easy to come up with reasons when you already know the answer, but that doesn't mean the reasons make sense.
