Several good suggestions have been made about how to improve. However, I don't think that was quite your question. Your question, I think, was how to stay motivated when the bots seem to keep reassuring you that you suck. :-)

One suggestion I have is to keep reviewing the same positions over and over again. As I've mentioned elsewhere, I keep a small quadrille-ruled notebook where I write down by hand the decisions I've been faced with that I understand the least. The position is on the right-hand side, and to see the rollout information I flip over and look on the back. If you're like most people, once you've recorded a hundred or so positions in this fashion and then go back, you'll find that you've forgotten some of them and may make the same mistake over again. However, if you do this enough, you'll eventually get all the decisions right. This will give you a sense of progress. If all you do is generate fresh errors all the time and look at them briefly, not only will you not reap the maximum benefit from them, but you'll get frustrated with your seeming lack of progress.
