Pos. 1: The thing that stands out in my mind here is that back checker -- it's not in a good place and my timing says I need to escape soon. 23/21 is probably better than 23/22 and between the two, the other die plays much better after 23/21, i.e. 10/9. (Also, White's 4's are duped, although this is just a bonus feature as that fact doesn't swing the already made decision.)

Pos. 2: I hate it when that happens. Now Blue is really in trouble. This time advancing brings 6's into the Point-On-Head mix, and right now that back checker escapes with a six. Further, the accompanying 7/3 is unappetizing. There seems to be too much game remaining to dilly that checker.

When my back is to the wall, I'd rather show my claws than turn tail (with nowhere to run). 15/11, 7/6.
