Bob and John, in response to both of your posts:

In my post I mentioned that this hybrid (Trice Count + Kleinman Count) was probably not great, but then implied that the result would be good enough in this case. I was thinking at the time about the variance issue, meaning if TC+KC got leader winning X%, the true value would be >X%. And since this was a pass using TC+KC, then it really is a pass with a more accurate method.

I'll check out the ref you posted, Bob. One issue I've always had with most race/bearoff methods is that they don't give you a win%, but rather Double+Redouble+Drop values for money games. I think that is the case for the pure Trice Count method. (Does anyone know differently?) Kleinman Count does give you the Cubeless Game Winning Chances (as you both know) which is why I try to use it as much as I can, even sometimes when it isn't applicable. :)
