Rich, The contradiction is that SINCE the policy begins today, there is no way that the players in ABT tournaments the first five months of this year, or from those drawsheets obtainable from 2009, will have had "all the information required to infer prior to play which matches will be rated and which ones will not" by definition.

(don't get me wrong - I'm all in favor of this, but I agree with Bob that there is a contradiction between the two clauses)
