Unusual opening moves

At ABT tournaments it never surprises me much to see 62D or 63D (I even got 65D once!).
I had opening 62D played on me several years ago in Vegas (by the same guy who played 53D three times). Otherwise I haven't seen 62D, 63D or 65D since around 1980.
A local player always plays 32% (13/11 8/5) if he gets the chance.
I've never seen opening 32% played, or heard of it played (until now) since the 1920s!
Another player is fond of 62R which seems to me to have the best 'screw-up' vig for not knowing the responses.
Agreed, and it gives up the least equity (.025) among openers not on my "W2" list (within .02 of best). I had it played once against me several years ago by a timid player, otherwise nada. Prior to seeing recent comments, I had been under the impression that 62R has all but disappeared since the 1960s.
Someone we don't see any more would play 53$ all the time (13/5). And a very good player who has won ABT touranments will often play 54R.
I haven't seen the 53$ whopper since the 70s.
I touched on 54R in another post -- was played some in the 70s and 80s (maybe even 90s, not sure). It's "only" -.026, but unlike 62R, there is no "unfamiliar territory" vig with 54R against anyone who has seen 63R.
Thanks for your feedback. It's clear that I don't get out enough.
