World Cup -- OT - England VS USA

Algeria and Slovenia are both moderately decent, though USA - ranked 14 in the world - will be favourites to win against both.
Slovenia qualified by beating Russia in a playoff; apparently the refereeing was controversial.
Algeria also qualified in a playoff, beating rivals local Egypt who went on to win the Africa Cup of Nations. Algeria's favoured formation of 4-3-3 is well set up to compete against USA's 4-4-2, so USA might struggle to dominate the midfield.
Tonight's game against England (not Britain) is the toughest match in the group, on paper. We traditionally underestimate the American team, since it is not one of your major sports, but in fact we are only a few places higher in the world rankings. Like you, we will probably play a 4-4-2 and rely on our superior individual ability to get a result.
The first international match was England vs. Scotland in about 1870, and the four home nations have always had separate teams and leagues. For the first time ever there will be a Great Britain team at the 2012 Olympics, but at the present time the Scots are saying they will not release players.
