Rehashing "Luck"

I am very much aware of the tournament where Ralph won the World Championships, and he clearly deserved the win, as he not only beat some of the better players in the world, he also beat some of the best cheaters in the world, including Hank Youngerman. There were many matches recorded by totally unknown players who played at under 1.0 according to Snowie 3.0 which, I believe, with the bot of choice at the time. I don't have to tell you the odds of these players being cheaters.

I declined to play in this, and most other on-line competitions, because of these cheaters, and also because, if you won, all you got was the right to call yourself "world champion."

By the way, Ralph and I are old friends, and he often says I taught him a lot about the game, which embarrasses me greatly.
