As is the case with many decisions on playing doublets, three of the deuces are some combination of forced and automatic: 25/23, 6/4*(2).

After that I only see two (what I consider) reasonable options for the final deuce: 23/21 and 13/11.

13/11 increases the number of rolls which cover the 3-point (assuming that checker isn't hit) from 17 to 20, a modest improvement. 23/21 (as I weighed last turn) gets that checker in position to escape with large dice. (Downside as mentioned by many others yesterday is that it doesn't pressure opp's homeboard.) Relatively speaking, it doesn't open up a new blot.

We are still behind in the race; we have a better homeboard; we definitely need to cover the blot on our 3-point. Strategically and tactically, it appears that 13/11 is the better choice.

Summary: 25/23, 6/4*(2), 13/11.
