We (or at least 'I') put a checker on the 11-point to be a builder for the homeboard. 11/7 puts that builder in a much better position.

23/20 is the only 3 I can stomach. 7/4 puts the builder too deep (and removes that checker from being a builder for the 7-point). 8-point is still quite valuable, ruling out 8/5. As far as needing to stay back, guarding opp's homeboard, if we make our 3-point we may not need to be back; if we get hit we'll get some chances to return back. But it's really just a "least of evils" play with the 3 die.

Summary: 11/7, 23/20.
