After 14/8, the two progressive candidates are 13/11 and 6/4. (I rule out the double sextuplet candlestick play as we're not that desperate to avoid leaving shots, IMO.) I'm not sure which is safer NEXT turn, but 13/11 has the advantage of requiring White to break an asset to hit, AND also likely leave a higher number of, and more dangerous return shots. (White's 6-4 rolls is the obvious exception to these arguments.) 13/11 is a bit better from the unstacking point of view, but 6/4 starts a potentially more valuable point.
In these situations it has been my (imperfect) observation that starting the outfield point comes out better in bot eyes.
14/8, 13/11.
