XG question: Double point at -2,-2

1) There is no sequence that makes X too good to double 2) X has a market losing sequence 3) X has no roll so that opponent has immediately lost his market. 4) The double is optional

For 4, does the double have to be exactly and indisputibly optional? For example, what if it's within .002 but not within .001?

Or is your intention that it simply be not wrong to not double? In other words, can 4) "no double" be part of an acceptable solution?
