I think the cube is technically bad, and don't think I would have the guts to double this OTB. If Kit cubed this on the basis of a pass expectation, well, a very good and gutsy read of a mistake of a very strong opponent IMO.

You are right of course about the difference in real play vs analyzing isolated positions presented as problems. My first reaction was that is a lots of blots and shots, then I realized only 23 shots, and a recube out if missed.
