2.5 cube PR: Holy crap!

In Response To: PR's update before MC (Iancho Hristov)

I would wager a great deal that both of the following statements are true:

1) No one in the universe has ever played 50 consecutive 5-pt-or-longer live matches maintaining a 2.5 or lower cube PR;

2) Stick Rice wouldn't play to a 2.6 PR if he had to regularly play out (or play against) the tortured, surreal positions that I regularly blunder myself into.

Anyway, congratulations to Stick Rice. I think it's fair to say that he and some of his colleagues are playing Backgammon at a higher level than it's ever been played by anyone, and that is no small accomplishment.
