This is the kind of position it helps to have a real board to move the checkers around with. 'Course I can still move them to the wrong places with a real board.

6/4, 8/2 is a candidate. 6/4, 11/9(3) is another. (Even I think we should keep the middie here.)

The compactness=flexibility of 11/9(3) definitely pleases my eye. We don't really want the deuce point this early, anyway.

Summary: 6/4, 13/9(3).
