How about this: 1% of winnings in ABT events go into a fund to send the ABT or USBGF yearly champion (or top two places, or top three places) to the backgammon world championships in Monte Carlo, all expenses paid (round trip flight, resonably priced hotel, entry fee, stipend for meals). If a recipient declines to go, the next one on the list wins the prize.
