Thanks, Stick. I'm wondering now what happened with Jake's rollouts. I'm guessing he inadvertently entered the wrong position somehow.

As for the position itself, I would have made Jake's play 17/12(2) 13/8(2) OTB. With hindsight, however, I can see the merits of the bot play. It puts maximum pressure on the opponent. 6/1(2) is hard to see because it looks destructive, but we retain a five-point board with no dead checkers, and if doing so greatly reduces the chances that the opponent will get home safely, then it's worth it.
