Hi Timothy:

I do check my spam folder before deleting, but if that's where your mail was routed I may have missed it.

I checked the article and the positions, or at least the eXtreme versions. I had changed filing systems a few weeks earlier when I got this computer and would have to spend time tracking those down.

The 3-board board variation was rolled out, but the 4-point version turns out not to have been. Rereading the article I find my wording slightly ambiguous, in that "in each case" could refer to either the two variants, or the two rollouts for the 3-point board variant.

So one of two things happened: either the 4-point variation somehow was not rolled out, and I didn't realize it when I went back over the positions at the time I wrote the article, or, because it evaluated at -.096 to make the ace I got sloppy and failed to roll it out. Doing batch rollouts as with Snowie 99.9% get rolled out, but with eXtreme batches aren't possible.

Anyway, I screwed up one way or another. Thanks for catching it.
