I would guess that if there are problems with the profiles in XG it might because this is a feature that is not heavily used so there have not been bug reports to alert Xavier to issues.

As far as the program being a "work in progress" that could be said for virtually any piece of software. Simply look at the numbers of patches released for virtually any commercial software, or the need to find work arounds for issue in software. If having to fix some bugs is the standard to judge whether a piece of software is a work in progress than I think one would be hard pressed to find any software that was not commercially released as a "work in progress."

While it is possible that Xavier may have missed an email from you I think almost everyone here would attest to the fact that the support for XG has been second to none. I have had reason to contact XG support 3 or 4 times, and have always gotten a response within 24 hours, and normally in much less time than that. When there has been a bug in the software the fix has come in the next release, and those releases have been frequent.

Is XG perfect, or course not, no software is. Do I wish XG might do some things a little differently interface wise, of course, but I could say that for virtually any piece of software. But, from and overall functionality, price, and support standpoint I can't think of any other piece of commercial software I have used that comes close to XG.
