Meyer Dice Tube

It seems the number of tumbles the dice have to perform among the pachinko sticks in the middle of the tube should create a 'random' result. However, you are starting the 'roll' with the dice in a known position, (the number your opponent just rolled). It isn't completely outside the realm of possibility that the known starting number could influence the next result.
This doesn't exist with dice shaken in a cup.
I find the activity of shaking and rolling the dice pleasant and one of the aesthetically pleasing aspects of the game. I also like knowing whose turn it is by the side the dice are sitting on, (not available with a baffle box).
I find these 'enhancements' to the game solutions in search of a problem. I've been playing in America for a dozen years and yet to experience or even hear a credible report of an actual 'mechanic' cheating with a dice cup. (I'm excluding the case with the magnetic board/dice).
In addition, it's clear to me that a good slight-of-hand artist could game a baffle-box as easily as a dice cup.
