I was once cheated by the guy Ron C who was mentioned here by someone, he wore funny looking sunglasses so you could not see his eyes, a ring on his pinky so he could palm one die and while shaking the single die by knocking against his pinky ring it sounded like two dice in the cup. He also wore an outrageous blond wig and texan hat and called himself Troy! You have to admire him in a way, I don't think he was such an evil guy, just misguided. Quite a good player too which is all the more of a shame.

It was unbelievable the way he did it, and when he was found out my friends in Australia confiscated his board which had magnets - so he could cheat in many different ways.

My guess is your fear about the chouette guy is just a bit of paranoia, you've got other guys with you and surely someone would notice if the dice were different or the board had been tampered with.
